Its weird how at the beginning of summer I am so excited about fall and canning, then after the first batch of peaches I remember it's not so fun. The end result is of course totally worth all the mess in the kitchen and all the burns on my hands. The jam is the best because it makes it all through the school year for the home lunches.
I guess I do have a good little helper though when its time to clean up! He is such a funny little guy, he LOVES the dishwasher.
